Large amounts of data are currently generated in hospitals and nursing homes, many of which are not being used. As part of the second N!CA project, this data will be used to develop new products that support and improve the nursing care process. Two steps are required to achieve this goal. On the one hand, data extraction and conversion into a standardized format, taking into account the differences and similarities of different healthcare providers, and on the other hand, the use of standardized "real-world” data for the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) models. In addition, it will be investigated how AI models can be integrated into real processes and evaluated at the same time. To support nursing staff in their daily work, evidence-based knowledge and recommended guidelines will be integrated into existing electronic nursing systems.
