As part of the Erasmus+ KA171 staff mobility program, Michael Dengler from the Clinical Division of Oncology at Med Uni Graz recently taught at Chiang Mai University. During his stay, he was honored to receive a special gift commemorating the 65th Anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine, which he was tasked to deliver to Rector Andrea Kurz.
In a meaningful gesture symbolizing the strong academic and cultural connection between the two institutions, the gift has now been officially presented to Rector Kurz. This special occasion was further enriched by the presence of two staff members from Chiang Mai University, who are currently participating in the Erasmus+ program at Med Uni Graz:
- Somsakul Wongpalee, PhD, Department of Microbiology
- Sakawdaurn Yasom, PhD, Department of Microbiology
This event underscores the longstanding collaboration between the two universities, based on shared goals such as academic excellence, cultural exchange, and research innovation. These partnerships not only facilitate the exchange of knowledge but also strengthen the global connections that are essential in our interconnected world.
We look forward to many more years of successful collaboration.
