Kurs

International short courses

International short courses on different scientific topics take place regularly at the Medical University of Graz and provide our international guests with an excellent opportunity for networking with Med Uni Graz experts and colleagues from around the world.

Three short courses are currently offered:

Kinderheilkunde

Educational courses in pediatric medicine

Students from abroad who are interested in a clinical rotation in the field of pediatric medicine have the opportunity to complete one of two educational courses in pediatric medicine at Med Uni Graz. The four-week courses are offered in English every February and July.

Target group

These courses are designed for medical students from abroad at different stages in their education. The goal is to facilitate a discussion between younger and more experienced participants.

Structure and content

Each course lasts four weeks and is a mixture of a clinical rotation with bedside instruction and lectures in English.

  • Clinical rotation
    • In February: at the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at University Hospital Graz
    • In July: at the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at University Hospital Graz or at the Division of Paediatric Radiology (for participants in CEEPUS Summer Academy of Paediatric Medicine only; see details below) at University Hospital Graz
  • Lectures
  • Interactive case discussions or research talks in English

Language skills

Sufficient knowledge of English is required for participation in an educational course in pediatric medicine. The afternoon lectures and case discussions are conducted in English.
