The medical curriculum in Graz is a combined module and track system. The majority of instruction occurs in interdisciplinary and topic-centered blocked courses (modules) that last five weeks. The modules and tracks consist of compulsory subjects. The content of the different disciplines is taught in modules that include clinical presentations. The modules are accompanied by courses (tracks) that extend over a longer period of time and whose content is taught both within the modules and in separate courses.
