Anton Shiriaev

Anton Shiriaev has an international educational background in agricultural biotechnology, soil science and science diplomacy; 9 years of research experience. He has worked with nutraceutical products and phytoremediation strategies development, innovation introduction in plant breeding, and advisory service in crop protection. He is an author and co-author of 8 scientific works in plant science and agricultural policy. He is also currently working as a volunteer for an NGO called ‘The Good Scientists’ where he is contributing to its establishment by working on its Manifesto policies, on the strategic plans of the organisation, along with writing funding proposals, etc.

Pablo Zardoya is a business developer at the Cluster for Pharma and Biotech Industry in Graz, Austria. In 2018 he attained his PhD in Reproductive Biology from MolMed PhD program at Medical University of Graz. After his PhD studies, he took on several positions where he worked at the European Commission in Brussels as a Policy Officer Assistant at the Directorate Health and Food Safety (SANTE). He also worked as a Product Manager at Anton Paar GmbH and Biobank Graz. In 2022, he was a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Orthopaedics and Traumatology department at LKH Graz. Pablo has conducted several webinars and maintained relationships with customers and partners/sponsors around the world which allowed him to widen his network.

Geraldine Zenz

Geraldine Zenz manages the PhD Program “RESPImmun” at the Medical University of Graz since 2021.
She started her scientific career with an MSc degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biomedicine at the Karl-Franzens University of Graz and conducted her thesis research at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. Before continuing her academic career with a PhD at the Pharmacology Department of the Medical University of Graz, she worked as a Science Journalist in Vienna. Geraldine Zenz finished her PhD in 2019 to proceed with a Post-Doc in the same laboratory until she decided to delve into a different career as the administrative coordinator of RESPImmun.
